Arik apologizes to passengers on flight from LOS-JFK on March 31st

On March 31th, passengers on an Arik flight from Lagos to New York were subjected to hardship as there was almost an hour flight delayed departure plus the airplane's air condition was not working, leading to passengers protesting on board. Media sources forecast Vogue’s controversial issue with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian on its cover is on track to sell 300,000 to 400,000 copies, putting it on par with top-selling issues with Beyoncé and First Lady Michelle Obama.

Beyoncé’s March 2013 cover sold about 355,000 copies, while Obama’s the next month sold just under 300,000.

A Vogue rep said, “[We] never comment on sales figures.”

Rasaq Okoya's daughter to wed Alao-Akala's son on Easter sunday

Hadiza Okoya, daughter of business mogul Chief Rasaq Okoya will wed her boo, Olamiju Akala, the first son of former Governor of Oyo state, Adebayo Alao Akala on Easter Sunday, April 20th.

 

The Nikkai (Islamic wedding) and court wedding will take place inside the Okoya expansive estate, in Lekki, Lagos. The couple had their introduction on January 12th.

 

Hadiza is the only child of a union between Chief Okoya and his former Liberian wife, while Olamiju on the other hand is the first son of Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala.
